Mary Hanewall, MNM serves Denver-area nonprofits in interim executive capacities, most recently Denver Kids. Previous she was interim executive director to Firefly Autism and served in the same role to Colorado Youth at Risk. She was permanent executive director to Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation from 2000 to 2012. Mary has provided leadership and proven nonprofit business skill sets to national, regional and local nonprofit organizations, including 35 years at senior management level and executive positions. She has her Masters of Nonprofit Management (MNM) degree from Regis University where she was a Colorado Trust Fellow. Mary taught fundraising in the Regis University Master’s program from 1991 – 1994. She is the past board chair to the Youth Mentoring Collaborative and serves as Vice Chair to New America Schools. In 2012 she was awarded the McHugh Award for Leveling the Playing Field in Colorado in Education and in 2013 was selected for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Award.
